Ziyu Ma, currently living in London, is a fashion design major student graduated from Pratt Institute in 2022. And currently taking MA Fashion course in Royal College of Art. She is good at using bright colours, abstract prints, and exaggerated garment silhouettes in her works to highlight the themes and ideas she wants to express.
Ziyu hopes that through her work, the audience can learn a little-known thing from the silhouette or fabric selection or swatches, such as a story that is very personal, or a species that is about to disappear, a folk culture, etc. She hopes the audience can resonate with her work.
