Peihan is a graphic designer from China. She studied visual communication as an undergraduate at the China Academy of Art and is currently studying for a master's degree in visual communication at the Royal College of Art.
Her research practice focuses on the mythical story of the goddess in ancient China, and explores from a modern feminist perspective the connection between the female role of the goddess and the worship of nature in the human/non-human world, and the dispossession of their identities as objects within patriarchal contexts and the process of reinvention. She hopes to be able to reflect on the fate of women being stared at from the goddess as an individual.
