Vishal Mehta is a designer and mechanical engineer interested in the dynamic push-and-pull between materials and processes. For him, stories and traditions are starting points in making. Making fire, making bread, making tools, making homes—making describes the simple universal acts that have allowed humans to thrive and survive. He believes that maybe this shared goal forms our common ground - the idea that our collective efforts can ignite positive change and collaboratively design a better world. A better world filled with moments of curiosity wonder and awe interactions that want you to stop, look closely and reflect. These moments are important to him, these ‘Aha Moments’, which he would like to carry into his practice.
