Tom Parker is an artist specialising in printmaking. Aspects of print’s intended use in dissemination and reproducibility of information, ideas and images are reference points for his work. The ubiquity of digital interfaces today has replaced the everydayness of print in many forms, and actively deciding to print anything could feel like a subversive act. Tom uses processes which include etching, letterpress, screenprinting, bookmaking and community based workshops to playfully look at this.
