Thomas Bugg is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. Through installation, moving image, sound and performance, his work delves into the subtle and often overlooked aspects of human existence, considering the ephemeral and intangible elements that shape our lives and influence our connection to the world.
Currently pursuing the MA Information Experience Design programme at the Royal College of Art, Thomas previously earned his BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication Design (with Creative Computing) from Central Saint Martins in 2021.
Beyond his personal practice, Thomas has taught on the MA Biodesign programme at Central Saint Martins. His professional engagements include projects for notable clients such as Nike, Arena Homme +, Snap Inc, Kandinsky Theatre and institutions like the Royal College of Art, The Open Data Institute and Central Saint Martins.
His work has been previously exhibited at IRCAM, Centre Pompidou, Iklectik Art Lab, Corner 7 Gallery and the Gerald Moore Gallery. His work has been published by the likes of Thames & Hudson, Design Week, People of Print and Campaign, has won a D&AD Yellow Pencil and has been shortlisted for the LVMH Maison/0 Green Trail Award.
