My name is Shang Wang and I grew up in a modern oriental family.
A subtle, restrained emotional atmosphere often surrounds me, while complex relationships and entanglements always occur to me, and I am often caught up in tangles that are difficult to talk about. These afflictions dissipate as they grow, while new ones emerge. This also makes me constantly think about the intertwining and progression of relationships between people.
From my previous background in product design and fashion, I now work in the field of textiles, which has led me to focus more on the application of various materials and techniques. The variety of art forms and experiences from the past to the present inspire me to express myself personally in my work.
