Sara Christova (b.1994; Sofia, Bulgaria) is a London-based interdisciplinary artist working across painting, installation, photography and audiovisual media.

Drawing from contemporary existentialism and metaphysical discourse, she plays with notions of materiality, affect, and phenomenology. Her practice is experimental in nature, looking for ways to enmesh traditional and innovative methods of artmaking whilst engaging with concepts rooted in the digital realm and the intersections between art and technology. Through her work she examines scientific and mythological narratives alike, focusing on alternative modes of perception and the possibilities of posthuman futures.

In 2016 she received a BA (Hons) in Illustration at Cardiff School of Art and Design, and since then has exhibited internationally, and collaborated with a wide range of artists, collectives (tactileBOSCH, LittleBigArt, London Paint Club, Bulgarian Illustration), and institutions (National Palace of Culture [Bulgaria], Cardiff National Museum, W1Curates, WCVA, Derrida Centre Sofia). In 2023 she was awarded a Graduate Diploma (Distinction) in Fine Art at the Royal College of Art where she is currently completing an MA in Contemporary Art Practice.
