In today’s ever-evolving world, to keep up with changing societal trends, I recognise the need for a trans-disciplinary approach to design.
I am a passionate designer/ researcher who seeks to merge Textile Design with my interest in sustainable design practices and critical design thinking. Using design to create and propose alternate approaches to inquiry through various mediums has been the central idea in my work so far.
In Textiles MA at the Royal College of Art, my practice focuses on explorations of the material cultures in textiles, as well as experiments with the materiality of textiles. As I build my creative practice, I hope to continuously learn and master innovative, contemporary techniques with diverse resources available in the local ecosystem. I am particularly interested in redefining my understanding of textiles and materiality to develop my own authentic creative vision.
