Paris’ art practice investigates the usage of light, space, and time to encourage spatial awareness, and how it can be manipulated to create an illusory event. Inviting the experience of intimacy and participation. Varying on the degrees of solidity and temporality, Paris' work recognises the new ‘frames of time’, and control of light, in both artificial and natural perspective forms, for an illusory event.
Using predominantly projection, moving image, and photography, Paris' looks at the physicality and materiality of light as a motif and a object medium in itself.
