Minjeong Kwon

Minjeong Kwon is an interior designer with a solid academic background in spatial design; completed a BA and MA from Ewha Womans University. Her ambition is to create a better future for the next generation by crafting better surroundings. Her professional journey spans eight years to achieve her goal, during which she has made significant contributions to the Interior Design industry and Public Service Design at a public enterprise in Korea.

In RCA, Minjeong chose the MATTER Platform in Interior Design to approach spatial design by recalling the importance of making in tactile and handcrafted ways. Through material practices and AI exploration, she could weave spatial material narratives, intuitive experiments, and new technology. Her current thesis project is about the Eye Healing Center, which aims to relieve people’s eye strain by articulating between light, colors, and materials.
