Laura is a Colombian-born London-based designer working across multiple disciplines. Her practice explores the art of gathering around a table (comedor) through a Latin-American narrative. Her curiosity drives her to make things by hand, in diverse media, encompassing metal, wood, print, and others.
She has lived and worked between Paris, London, and her beloved Medellin, where she co-founded Hito Estudio. A multidisciplinary food-art studio whose work focuses on creating installations, experiences, a consultancy orbiting the worlds of food, intimacy, and collaborative complicity.
