Keith Gunning

Qyinkan and I preparing the pink film for our hallway installation.

Our group goal was to care for uncared-for environments. We wanted to do this by manipulating light and colour. We created a system that change the emotional atmosphere of an uncared-for space.

My engagement with my group appeared in the materials that we used. My background as a fashion designer lead me towards selecting the materials that we engaged with. Specifically I sourced the stickers and created the sticker sheets that mapped our emotions each week. I also sourced the material that was used on each of the light structures. The transparent cellophane wrap was a material that I suggested. I hadused it before in other projects. I felt it was an accessible material that we could all interact with.
