A mysterious force is calling me. Right now, I must board the ship. I carry with me the weapon, the Golden Cudgel, stolen from the palace of the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea. Along with my brothers, we set sail for India to obtain the sacred scriptures. We endured 9,981 trials and tribulations.
Some say I attained the true scriptures and became a Buddha.
Some say I perished long ago on the journey to the West.
