Imon Phukan is a multi disciplinary artist, her artworks ranges from paintings to sculptures to installations. Her process involves digging and searching continously , bringing her experinces of migration and movement from one place to another.
She is currently working with Bamboo, and textiles. She hand stitches her own textile installations, as she believes she feels more belong with her works in that manner, and her works empowers her to explore the female identity.
She is born in India, from Northeast Assam. She have completed her Bachelors from MaharajaSayajirao University Baroda from Painting dept, in the year 2021.
