considerations in the ethos of my work's exploration are culture, intimacy, relationships, backgrounds, interactions, hospitality, connections, and experiences. hassan fathy defines culture as “the result of the interaction between man and his environment when man attempts to satisfy his physical and spiritual needs” fathy, 1972) to me, art + design is a culture, a form of communication, and a way to explore persons + understand the deeper simplicities and satisfactions in elements of everyday life
