As a student specializing in Design Products at the Royal College of Art in London, I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of design and exploring new formative values. Having earned a master's degree in Smart Design Engineering from Hongik University in South Korea, where I also studied industrial design, I have deeply engaged in the design and mass production of products using metals and plastics. This experience has granted me a profound understanding of the interaction between material and form.
Through my studies at the Royal College of Art, I am transitioning from commercial constraints to a focus on conceptual and abstract designs. My recent work predominantly uses concrete and metal to explore new paradigms and possibilities in product design's sculptural values. This process has led me to question the prevailing structures of production and commercial sustainability, probing the role of design in addressing these challenges.
