Almas is an awardee of LPDP Scholarship from the Ministry of Finance Republic of Indonesia for her MA in Service Design, Royal College of Art. Her professional experience encompasses vital sectors such as health, retail, and banking services in Indonesia, where she has adeptly managed customer experience projects. This exposure has not only honed her skills in understanding and innovating within these industries but also reinforced her ability to view design challenges through a spatial lens, thanks to her architectural background. This unique perspective enables her to seamlessly blend physical and service-oriented spaces with digital touch points, creating meaningful services.
In her work on the "SHUT IN/SHUT OUT" project for AcrossRCA, she contributed to the development of research and ethical plans, gathered living stories as part of the data, and designed the website, serving as the final artwork output.
