Self Healing

How are we affected by our family in childhood? How do we heal from these experiences as adults?
Caring SocietyMental HealthWellbeing

Our team decided to explore the relationship between our childhoods and our present selves, examining how past experiences manifest in our current lives. This led us to pose a critical question: How do we heal from these experiences as adults?

We began by sharing memories, creating a written archive of childhood experiences.

From there, we chose to explore healing through making—expressing and sharing our experiences with others. We created a mixed media installation incorporating textiles, sound, and video projection, building a space that embodies softness. This space expresses the tensions we experienced in childhood, the comfort we sought, and the hopeful peace for our future selves.
