The project is a card game named "Water Journey," designed to raise awareness about water pollution and promote the protection of water resources. Many countries are currently facing water resource issues exacerbated by the climate crisis. This educational game aims to engage teenagers in understanding water pollution issues in a simple and enjoyable manner while encouraging them to contemplate the importance of safeguarding water resources.
The game interface is divided into four sections: "Industrial Area," "Agricultural Area," "Residential Area," and "Wilderness." Each represents distinct environments and challenges. The game provides three types of functional cards corresponding to the map: agricultural, industrial, and residential, along with varying numbers of coin and wastewater cards. In the game, players face the challenge of effectively utilizing their resources to manage wastewater, construct facilities, and engage in long-term planning and development. The realism and challenge of the game encourage players to recognize the need for ongoing and sustained efforts in environmental governance.
