Game envisions AI education, stressing balance between technology and human values, highlighting individual and collective identity.
Being DigitalArtificial IntelligencePlay

The project "Future AI Education Campus Open-day" is a live-action role-playing game (RPG) that provides a forward-looking simulation of AI education schools 30 years into the future. This game offers participants a virtual open day experience, enabling them to witness firsthand the innovative applications of AI technology in education and to confront the technology's critical limitations, particularly its challenges in addressing ethical and moral considerations within educational contexts. The experience is designed to provoke thought on how education should evolve to balance technological advancements with humanistic care in an age of rapid technological development. The central question it poses is how to maintain a focus on individual and collective humanity amidst a tech-driven future.

This inquiry into the future of education and technology is grounded in existing research that highlights AI's potential to personalise learning, improve teaching efficiency, and offer new solutions for learners with disabilities, thereby enhancing accessibility and learning outcomes. However, the game also reflects scholarly concerns regarding AI's limitations in ethical and moral decision-making within educational settings, emphasising the need for humanistic values at the heart of AI educational models.

The game allows players to explore a virtual AI education campus, interact with professional AI coaches, and experience personalised educational environments. A significant focus is placed on the potential of AI to assist learners with visual and hearing impairments, showcasing the technology's innovative applications while critically engaging with its limitations, especially in providing emotional care and moral judgment.

"Future AI Education Campus Open-day" aims to present a balanced view of AI's technological innovations and their implications for future education. It seeks to highlight the limitations of replacing humanised teaching with AI, especially in nurturing emotional and moral development. Through this immersive gaming experience, the project encourages players to deeply contemplate and discuss the future of educational methodologies, focusing on both the strengths and shortcomings of integrating AI into education.
