Our project is an exploration into the effect colours have on the atmosphere of various spaces. Visually, colours have significant impact and create an emotional response in different types of spaces. Our project consists of experiments in spaces on the RCA Kensington campus that lack a sense of life, with the aim to use colours to change the overall mood of the space. Our group manifesto concentrates on caring for each of the group members through the process, thereby extending this care to other students by transforming and changing the colour atmosphere in the selected spaces. The project also explores our personal interpretation of colours and how they affect mood, using a colour mood chart to track how we feel each week with colour stickers.
