Call for low-vision attention

Endeavouring to help the visually impaired community overcome the challenges of visiting and experiencing cultural spaces such as museums
Caring SocietyPhysical HealthSocial CareWellbeing

In a caring society, endeavouring to help the visually impaired community overcome the challenges of visiting and experiencing cultural spaces such as museums is not only a reflection of the inclusive and progressive nature of society but also emphasises the importance of providing equal opportunities for all. Therefore, by using the V&A museum as an example, and by identifying the dilemmas encountered by this group when visiting the V&A museum, we hope to call attention to the challenges of the visually impaired community in enjoying and learning about this cultural heritage through our project, emphasising the social responsibility of design and innovation to create a society where culture and knowledge can be enjoyed equally by everyone.

Call for low vision attentionBy inviting participants to wear glasses to feel the way visually impaired people participate in painting, the group hopes that more people in society will pay attention to the challenges of visually impaired groups visiting and experiencing cultural spaces such as museums often overlooked. The video includes a discussion with the project team, an invitation to collaborate, and a presentation of the final product.
